At 3:00 PM on Friday Feb. 5, 1999, WOCB-LP TV-48 in Kenton, Ohio signed on as a sister station to WOCB-LP TV-39 in Marion. The station operates on UHF channel 48 with an effective ratiated power of .91 KW. It uses the same call sign as the Marion Station and operates under rules of special temporary authority by the FCC. Programs shown on TV-48 consists of programs from The Trinity Broadcasting Network as well as a three hour block of local programs produced by the Central Ohio Association of Christian Broadcasters. The long awaited turn on of TV-48 was delayed by snow storms high winds, and delayed equipment deliveries.
